It's that time of year again!

All the Kent Clubs are competing for the Rootes Trophy in this annual event.

There are three distances 100 miles; 60 miles or 30 miles, points are awarded for the number of riders competing on a sliding scale for the separate distances.

100 mile route completed with 4 of my Adalta team mates today at an average speed of 19mph (30.2kph).

It's was all a bit chiily and foggy for the first half of the ride, but eventually the sun burned through to warm us up a bit into the finish. The pub at the end was doing a rawing trade, packed out with loads of riders "rehydrating" after their hard ride.
